Mission
We share a duty to exchange what we experience because our lives are unique. Regardless of any special talents we may have or not have, because if we don't share what we've done and seen, it will be as though we did not exist. And we owe it to the people who taught us, shaped us, felt us, suffered and enjoyed our plight to be here.
No one has meaning alone.

I am a retired motion picture sound editor living in Los Angeles. I have been married for 25 years and have three children in their twenties. In the mid 1990's I was a studio screenwriter. Nothing I ever wrote got made although I did receive a story by credit for the film Good Boy which was based on my radio theatre program Dogs From Outer Space. In the 1980's I received a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to produce a series of satirical radio plays which I produced at KPFK in Berkely. I retired from the industry shortly after Covid shut down the studios to change careers as a truck driver hauling freight through the lower 48. While I was on the road I picked up a cheap Martin guitar outside of Boston and started writing songs. My trucking career was prematurely ended in 2023 due to serious health issiues which have since been resolved, controlled or are in remission.
I don't consider myself a professional musician. I do not have a gifted voice. But I enjoy composing and arranging the songs I produce and if something I've recorded appeals to you please pass the word. If not, the less said the better.
This site is essentially a blog that will evolve. I hope to add a section for videos, podcasts, guest blogs and whatever new media may be invented. I will endeavor to be honest and not post anything half baked. I do not use AI, although I acknowledge it may be embedded in some of the images used. I think AI is an existential threat to the creative arts and that everyone who creates should start posting ASAP so there is some record later when they find digital remnants of our civilization to prove there were thinking, feeling, authentic intelligence creatures roaming the planet.
I welcome comments and suggestionsd provided they are civil and reasonably polite. I welcome healthy political discussion.

I don't have the means or resources to hunt you down, so you'll probably get away with it, but there is a higher justice in the end which should humble us all.
